I'm Jessie

I write spicy romance with a dose of humor, lots of heart, and a sweet HEA that will have you hugging your Kindle. You’ll laugh. You’ll fall in love. You’ll fan yourself in all your naughty places.

I especially love a strong, protective, yet tortured hero, who needs healing through the power of love from a smart woman, with equal parts sass and sweet, who won’t put up with his BS.

I live near Montreal where I need my book boyfriends to keep me warm during the cold winter months. But who am I kidding? That’s just an excuse cause no matter how hot summers are, I still want my book boyfriend hotties all over me. I am a chocoholic, obsessed with K-drams, and I have a bleeding heart for rescue animals.

I only started writing at 42 years old. Before that, I was so not a creative. My background was in science and business. I had to work hard to unlearn the dry, technical writing style that was ingrained in me in Uni.

I'm a perpetual student. I just love to learn. Everything from scientific data to new age woo-woo stuff. And from business to crafting love stories.

My favorite color is red (just in case you haven't figured that out yet lol).

I'm addicted to K-Dramas. They are comfort food for my soul, and one of the main sources of inspiration for me as a writer. My goal as an author is to give you, awesome reader, ALL THE FEELS.

I'm a certified Reiki Master Teacher and I used to teach Animal Reiki on a rescue farm.

I got these pics taken for a speaking gig as a confidence coach at a Wellness Conference. Having a pro photoshoot made me feel like a rock star. It was so much fun.

I've had a lot of cool jobs in my life: dog walker, pet sitter, security guard, meditation guide, foster mom to orphaned kittens, raccoons, and skunks. Okay, that last one was not a paying job, but I took it really seriously. And now I've found my true path: author!
